Description

In this series, I stayed home and painted what I saw outside of my studio. The cloud forest in this part of the world is incredibly biodiverse and humid. Everytime I paint one of these pictures I have to take the canvas inside my home where it’s dryer, otherwise it will get moldy. Here I picked a bunch of weeds, vines, leaves, ferns and other vegetation in order to use them as stencils. The main color palette was on the warm side. Here too, bioluminescence and biofluorescense is in full display at night.
