Description

A few months before the Russian menace said he would use nuclear weapons if he was afraid, I painted these small series of known nuclear explosions of the past without knowing what he would do later. I have always been fascinated with the awesome power of nuclear explosions and the existential crisis they pose to both humanity and nature.
