This very simple painting is one of my favorites. Still with the idea of galaxies being attracted to a single mysterious point in space, I started laying only blue tones of oil with a very small palette knife. I decided to not join them, but to leave the thick oil spots separated from one another. Before I knew it, a flock of birds started to appear and I kept going with them. Now it hangs in my living room. This painting was done at the beginning of the series Laniakea that occupied most of of my creative time during 2019 and 2020, the year of the pandemic.
