This is part of the series called Laniakea (immeasurable heavens in Hawaiian). After my mom told me that she liked the first in this series (Laniakea Green) and I gave it to her, my sisters also wanted something for their homes. Although I did not understand well why will somebody want those scribbles on canvas, I decided to paint one for each of them. In doing so, I saw “birds” popping out of the canvas. After that, my abstract galaxies became also flying birds. A recurrent subject in subsequent paintings.
