Lonely Tree
On the ridge

Short
Description

I have always loved trees on the ridges of mountains. My good friend Phillip Vandervoort (@phllp.me) and I, go around the country looking for mountain ridges. He loves to photograph those trees and I like to paint them. Here I used dripping and UV sensitive pigments to ‘deform’ the landscape and show a colorful tropical mountain sunset. The sun is spilling its powerful rays on earth where the invisible Green House Gases (GHG) humanity is emitting irresponsibly, trap the extra infrared heat, making this biosphere warmer and dangerous for life.
