Mangrove Micropastics 1
New Entities intrusion

Short
Description

Mangroves are one of my favorite trees. They are strong, intricate, resilient, and definitely beautiful. And the mangrove forests are one of the most difficult places to be. During my professional career as a marine biologist, I have been to quite a few of those, in many cases sampling for research. They are now in jeopardy because of climate change, sea level rise, deforestation, and the intrusion of microplastics. This is the first of a series where I want to make others aware of this particular problem.
