While staying in one of my favorite places in Colombia, the Chocó jungle, I use an improvised studio on top of a small hill with a great view of the Pacific Ocean. This is the view from the top of that hill. My first time using gouache pigments. The paper I used reacts to ultraviolet light, and that is why you can see a totally different set of colors shining through when you illuminate UV on the small painting.
