Using the technique called ‘dripping’ made popular by Jackson Pollock back in the mid 20th century, I painted our beautiful planet Earth drifting in space, fragile and lonely. I am very concerned about the biosphere and since I teach the subject of climate change and the environmental crisis at school, I wanted to paint ‘home’, the only home we have!. I used also UV sensitive pigments that show rivers in the Amazon basin, and stars in the space background.
